Designer, Ou Ma, drew inspiration for her latest collection, L’envie, from the juxtaposition between past and present. Reflections from her past self can be depicted through every crystal-encrusted stitch and purposefully placed bead. Ou Ma implements tufts of tulle, asymmetrical beaded applique, and fluid feathers to embody a classic couture tone reminiscent of the sleek ’90s era.
A few A.B. ELLIE | HDWR pieces that are constructed of golden blooms, fluid strands, and organic pearls, were styled with the L’envie Collection— illustrating a very similar tone to which Ou Ma depicts in her designs: bold, classic, and everlasting attributes meant to be remembered. Sutble studs seamlessly tie into ethereal applique, clusters of texture are softened with fluid length, and organic pearls bond with contemporary necklines to establish elegant, architectural pieces that are designed to withstand time.
