A Modern Destination Wedding: Libby + Matt

Photography by: Caroline Hancock

Libby and Matt's love story began unexpectedly at Skellig Bar in Dallas on September 11, 2021. They weren't actively seeking partners, but fate had other plans, bringing them together in a chance encounter that would change their lives forever. From the moment they met, they knew there was something special between them. A week later, they went on their first date, and as they say, the rest is history.

Their wedding day at Flora Farms was a testament to their love and resilience. As the ceremony started, the entire city experienced a power outage, causing a momentary hiccup in their plans. However, Libby and Matt took it all in stride, knowing that nothing could dampen their spirits. Thanks to Flora Farms' preparedness with generators, the celebration continued seamlessly, surrounded by the warm glow of twinkling lights.

STYLE NOTES:

Necklace: Baroque Wavering Pearl Necklace

A myriad of pearls, including freshwater + Swarovski, intertwine + wave to create this wildly elegant choker— finished with ivory velvet ties.

Earrings: Double Pearl Studs

Veil: Raw Edge Veil

A single layer of soft draping, light ivory tulle — being a single layer, it will beautifully take on the tone of your gown under it.

Libby's wedding look was a reflection of her vibrant personality and unique style. Her funky tiered gown, with its playful texture, was a perfect match for the rustic charm of the venue. Later in the day, she added a sweet twist to her look by cutting the gown short for a more relaxed party vibe, embracing the spontaneity of the moment. Wearing our Baroque Wavering Necklace, Double Pearl Stud earrings, and Raw Edge Veil, she radiated elegance and grace.

As the night unfolded, guests danced under the canopy of twinkling lights— surrounded by their loved ones, Libby and Matt celebrated their union with laughter, love, and tons of dancing, cherishing each moment as they ventured on this new chapter of their lives together.

People do fall in love. People do belong to each other, because that’s the only chance that anyone’s got for true happiness.
